Zinc die-casting
During the zinc die-casting process, the molten metal is forced into the pre-heated steel mould under high pressure. This technology also enables the production of thin-walled and filigree die-casting products with a homogeneous surface, extreme hardness and strength.
The following standards have been set for zinc die-casting. Emphasis is placed on:
- Maximum dimensional stability
- Very thin-walled castings with the narrowest tolerances
- Material savings
- Long tool durability
- and exacting surfaces
SANDER DIE-CASTING uses zinc hot-chamber machines capable of casting parts with unit weights ranging from 2 g to 500 g. The fully-recyclable Z410 alloy is also processed.
