At Sander Druckguss, our commitment to sustainability and environmental protection is more than just a business practice – it is a fundamental part of our corporate philosophy. Our sustainability strategy comprises a range of measures aimed at minimising our environmental impact while ensuring efficient production processes:
- Resource-conserving planning and manufacturing processes: We attach great importance to efficient and environmentally friendly production methods.
- Use of recyclable and environmentally friendly alloys: Our focus is on materials that are not only of high quality but also environmentally friendly.
- CO2 reduction through remelting furnaces: A large proportion of our parts are produced by recycling our used aluminium products, which leads to a significant reduction in CO2 emissions.
- Modernisation of the exhaust air system in the foundry: This measure helps us to improve the air quality in and around our production facilities.
- Saving electricity through a photovoltaic system: By utilising renewable energy sources, we are reducing our energy consumption and our carbon footprint.
Continuous improvement and certifications
Our commitment to sustainability does not end with these measures. We are constantly working to further optimise our processes and environmental performance and sustainably reduce our energy consumption. Our successful participation in the Ökoprofit 2019 project and certification according to DIN EN ISO 14001:2015 since 2023 are evidence of our continuous endeavours to be a leader in environmental management and sustainable production.
